Gastronomy<\/h3>\n

Our gastronomy attaches great importance to sourcing products from regional suppliers. The vegetables come 100% from regional cultivation, there is Saarland Moselle wine, various Demeter wines as well as schnapps and beer from the surrounding area. Our coffee, espresso and chocolate are Fairtrade and organic certified. Vegetable and meat trimmings are processed into stocks and soups. Induction plates are used to save as much energy as possible and the lights in the restaurant remain off until shortly before the guests arrive. Attention is also paid to strict waste separation and the abolition of part-time work has eliminated unnecessary travel.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Modern agricultural management at Linslerhof<\/h3>\n

Agriculture and livestock farming characterize the long history of the Linslerhof. Pigs, cattle and horses found their place in the spacious stables and grain, rapeseed and potatoes were grown in the fields.
\nThe passionate farmer Ewald Meyer has now been successfully managing the fields and the equestrian farm with its more than 50 horse boxes and the many surrounding paddocks as a service provider for more than 35 years.<\/p>\n

Rye, barley, maize and rapeseed are grown on the 130 hectares of farmland on the estate. As an essential part of modern agricultural management, the types of crops grown change every three years in order to sustainably maintain and renew soil fertility. Hay and straw are harvested on a further 130 hectares of the estate’s own land, which can therefore be used for riding without having to travel long distances.
\nA large-scale solar power plant was also built, which now supplies more than 10,000 households in the region with environmentally friendly solar power.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

The Linslerhof II solar plant with a total output of 38.5 megawatts has been under construction on the Linslerhof site since April 2025. Local residents can participate in the project. <\/p>\n
