WHAT IS BEHIND CERTIFIED?
Certified was established over 15 years ago as a hotel certification by the VDR business travel association. The aim was to provide business travelers with a suitable hotel offer. In various categories such as “Green Hotel”, “Event Location” or “Business Hotel”, the hotels are tested by objective inspectors according to 70 – 125 criteria. The Certified Examiners are experienced practitioners, they come from travel management, event planning or are business customers. All inspectors have undergone extensive inspector training and are regularly informed about new standards and criteria.
